Cyber Readiness

Cyber readiness for organizations that need evidence, not buzzwords.

We assess where you are exposed, build the roadmap, and produce the evidence leadership, auditors, insurers, and operators can actually use. OMEGABYTE Cyber makes you ready for stronger security operations and for smart vendor selection — reported in the same executive language as your physical security.

What cyber readiness means

Not “are we compliant?” — “can we prove it, and would we keep running?”

For an operator, readiness is three things: operational continuity if something hits your systems, provable diligence for an auditor or insurer, and a clear-eyed view of where you are exposed. We translate frameworks like NIST CSF 2.0 and CIS Controls into plain language, prioritized by risk — then hand you the roadmap and the evidence to act on it.

  • Know where you stand — assessed against a recognized framework
  • A prioritized roadmap, not a 200-page report you never read
  • Evidence packaged for boards, auditors, and insurers
Where to start

Four readiness engagements, one practice.

Each is a fixed-scope starting point with a plain-language output. Begin with the pressure you have now — a review, an audit, a renewal, or a deadline.

Cyber Readiness Review

A gap assessment against NIST CSF 2.0 / CIS Controls in plain language — prioritized findings, a remediation roadmap, and an executive summary. Know what to fix first.

GRC & Audit Readiness

Readiness for SOC 2, NIST, and CIS — control mapping, policy support, and the evidence an auditor expects. We prepare you for the audit; an independent qualified firm certifies it.

Cyber Insurance Readiness

A control-gap review against what underwriters look for — MFA, EDR, backups, logging, incident response, vendor risk — plus a carrier-ready evidence package for your broker.

Quantum Readiness Snapshot

An external, fixed-fee crypto-agility snapshot — TLS and certificate posture and exposure scoring, mapped to NIST’s post-quantum timelines, with a migration roadmap.

Cyber insurance readiness

Controls in place, but can you prove them?

Many organizations have the controls their carrier asks about — but cannot produce the evidence when it counts, at application, renewal, or a claim. A checked box on a form is not operational proof. We identify the control gaps and the evidence gaps, then help assemble the proof your broker and carrier can rely on.

  • MFA, EDR, backups, logging, IR, and vendor risk — reviewed against underwriting expectations
  • A carrier-ready evidence package, organized and current
  • A renewal cadence so the attestation stays true through the policy period
Quantum readiness / crypto-agility

Know your cryptographic exposure before the deadline.

NIST has published its post-quantum standards and set deprecation timelines for today’s public-key cryptography. Most organizations have no visibility into where cryptography lives across their systems. Our snapshot is external and fixed-fee: TLS and certificate posture, certificate-lifecycle visibility, and exposure scoring — with an executive summary and a phased migration roadmap.

  • External crypto posture review — no credentials, limited domains/hosts
  • A starting cryptographic inventory and exposure ranking
  • A roadmap aligned to published NIST timelines and vendor-questionnaire support
Convergence & evidence

Cyber readiness reported alongside your physical security.

The systems behind your cameras, access control, and building infrastructure are part of the same threat surface. We assess them together and report them together.

Physical / cyber convergence

One program that treats access control, cameras, building systems, and IT as one attack surface — including camera supply-chain provenance and NDAA-compliant hardware options, which auditors and insurers increasingly ask about.

Executive reporting

Cyber posture reported in the same executive language as your physical security, so leadership sees one picture of risk.

Evidence trails

Evidence-backed records that support audits, insurance, and accountability — organized and ready when someone asks.

OMEGABYTE Cyber assesses your readiness to deploy and operate modern endpoint and detection platforms such as SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, and Microsoft Defender. “SentinelOne-aligned” describes the technology our readiness services are built around and does not assert official partner, reseller, or certification status. We help you select and prepare — we do not resell or manage the tooling.

What we are not

Honest boundaries. That is part of readiness.

  • Not a 24/7 SOC and not an MDR provider — we make you ready for one and help you choose well
  • Not an insurance broker or carrier — we prepare controls and evidence; your licensed broker places coverage
  • Not an auditor or certification body — we prepare you; an independent qualified firm certifies
  • Not selling “quantum-proof” or “unbreakable” anything — readiness and exposure assessment only
OMEGABYTE Cyber does not operate a 24/7 SOC or act as a managed detection and response (MDR) provider; cyber readiness services focus on assessments, roadmaps, evidence, vendor alignment, and readiness. We are not an insurance broker or carrier — insurance placement and policy interpretation remain with licensed brokers, carriers, and counsel. Quantum readiness and crypto-agility services are readiness and exposure assessments, not “quantum-proof,” “unbreakable,” or post-quantum certification. GRC and audit readiness are readiness assessments mapped to common frameworks; we are not an auditor, assessor, or certification body unless separately engaged through qualified partners.
